Hanjoon Ryu - Chief Executive Officer
Hanjoon Ryu is MedTest's Chief Executive Officer and has overall responsibility for its operations and strategic direction. Since being named MedTest's CEO in 2013, Mr. Ryu has brought strategic vision, leadership, extensive business and operating experience, and an immense knowledge of the industry to the organization.
Hanjoon Ryu was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MedTest on January 28, 2013.
Mr. Ryu previously served as a Senior Vice President of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics from 2007 to 2012, and was responsible for strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, and innovation. He was the head of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics’ Point of Care business and Molecular business unit.
Prior to Dade Behring’s acquisition by Siemens AG, from 1999 to 2007, Mr. Ryu held various leadership positions with Dade Behring, and was responsible for global and strategic marketing, commercial marketing, and strategic corporate projects. Before Dade Behring, Mr. Ryu was a consultant with Bain & Company, a management consulting firm.
Mr. Ryu holds an MBA degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Master’s degree in Marketing and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University, in Seoul, Korea.
